Plan your visit
Appointments are totally free to book. We don't want to restrict your fun, but so everyone can get comfy, we would suggest bringing up to 3 people – first appointments will be charged £25 as a deposit, which is refunded at the end of the appointment regardless of whether a style purchase is made.

TIP: ​Think about who you're going to bring along – do they understand and respect your vision for the day? It can be tough having loved ones question your taste, simply because theirs differs.

Timings are useful to understand from the outset. Start looking 9-12 months prior to the wedding date if you can, to allow for ordering your dress and making alterations. If there's less time please don't hesitate to come in - we'll be able to help.

Experience is everything! We do not restrict the number of dresses or outfits that you can try during the appointment. You will have 1 hour 15 minutes to browse and try on, which usually means up to 8 'looks'. Refreshments including fizz will be provided!
Following your visit
Purchase your dress on the day by placing a deposit or completing payment. Samples require 100% payment as the dress that you try will be yours.If you have chosen our made-to-measure service, we will ( crucially ) reserve the make time and fabric with our seamstresses.

Lead-time for the dress to be made can take up to 24 weeks, but this can vary hugely and ultimately we will work to your wedding date.

Underwear is crucial to have ready for your first fitting and so we will help you find the optimum solutions for underneath your dress via our sister store, The Pantry Underwear, located right next to the bridal shop, via our London location or online ( virtual bra fitting ).
​
Fittings with a seamstress will start up to 4 months prior to the wedding date, and it usually takes 2 or 3 fittings to get the alterations right. We will arrange fittings with our in-house seamstress.
